Coronavirus Update April 8, 2020 - NEW
Details on the new instruction teachers will be providing to students from April 15-June 5 were shared with the School Board on April 7. Information on the focus of the instruction, grading practices and the status of Standards of Learning tests is now available under the Instructional Services heading on our Web page devoted to services being offered by FCPS during the school closure.

April 8, 2020 - NEW
The Grab-N-Go Meals Program and the Technical Triage Center will not be offering services on April 10, 13 and 14 due to Spring Break. Both programs will resume operations on April 15 and continue each weekday until further notice. Meals will not be served on May 1 and May 25 and the Technical Triage Center will not be open on those dates which are FCPS holidays.

All School Facilities Are Closed
All school offices are closed. In addition, all outdoor facilities such as athletic fields, courts and playgrounds are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing recommendations.

The Frederick County Circuit Court has issued a final order in response to the Frederick County School Board’s Petition for Relocation and Reinterment of the Abandoned Graveyard discovered at the site of the replacement Robert E. Aylor Middle School on White Oak Road in Stephens City.

Student Registration
Student registration plans have been finalized for students who have moved to Frederick County and not yet enrolled in FCPS and for rising first-12th grade students who plan to enroll in FCPS for the 2020-21 school year.

Verify Contact Information
All families with students enrolled in FCPS are being asked to visit Parent/Student 360 to verify that their contact information is accurate. In addition, students are reminded to check their FCPS e-mail at least once each day so they don't miss any important information that may be sent to them by their school.

Internet Access for Instruction
FCPS is offering learning opportunities to all students, either through print or online resources. Families who do not have Internet access are being asked to contact each school in which they have a child enrolled to make them aware. Schools will be providing print materials to any students who need them in order to ensure all students receive the same educational opportunity. Additional details will be communicated as they become available.
